Collaborations
Nada Taller opens a space for developing projects with artists, designers, craftspeople, architects, researchers, institutions, and others interested in exploring the relationships between matter, object, body, space, and meaning.
Collaborations may take different forms: one-of-a-kind pieces, editions, furniture, publications, domestic, artistic, or institutional commissions, site-specific projects, and possible developments for broader production. Each project may begin with a concrete need, a question, a material, a story, a space, or a shared practice.
We have a studio and a fully equipped production workshop for the development of furniture, objects, and special projects, together with specialized technical support in tools, machinery, and fabrication processes. The space also houses a material archive composed of samples, tests, fragments, and discarded elements that document previous processes and remain available as memory, reference, and a point of departure for new explorations.
We are interested in approaching each commission as a potential research situation, in which context, materials, technical knowledge, and the relationships among those involved may transform the initial ideas and actively shape the outcome.
The workshop seeks to sustain an economy of means and a careful mode of production, allowing conceptual and material rigor to move across different forms of use, access, and circulation.
We welcome proposals for projects, conversations, and forms of collaboration that may find in Nada Taller a space in which to develop, take shape, and open new possibilities.
